As a Mercedes-Benz Approved Collision Centre, we ensure your Mercedes-Benz returns to factory specifications no matter how large or small the damage is. Each Mercedes-Benz is far more sophisticated than your typical vehicle, so how do we make sure that it's properly repaired? It all comes down to the specialized tools and diagnostic equipment used by our Mercedes-Benz trained technicians! In this blog post we'll break down two of the most important tools we have in our stable--the Celette straightening platform, and the Xentry diagnostic tool.
Celette Straightening Platform
The Celette straightening platform is designed to straighten the frame of your vehicle, should it ever become damaged or misaligned from a collision. Once the vehicle's damaged components are removed and the vehicle is locked onto the Celette bench, hydraulic pullers then pull the frame back into shape which guarantees it's perfectly straightened as per factory specifications.
Xentry Diagnostic Tool
Your Mercedes-Benz is a complicated piece of automotive engineering, with dozens of computer modules to ensure maximum comfort. After an accident, it's important to ensure all these computer modules function correctly. That's where the Xentry Diagnostic scanner comes into play. The Xentry connects to your onboard software and scans it for possible faults. Once damages are repaired, the Xentry Diagnostic scanner resets error codes so that your Mercedes-Benz is returned to factory specified condition.
